# Polls - Binary & Categorical Prediction Markets

**Binary Predictions & Categorical Predictions** are located in a new market type called **Polls (Prediction Markets). Polls** enable users to predict the outcomes of various events in the cryptocurrency and financial sectors.

### **1) Binary Prediction Markets**

Each Binary Prediction **Poll** has only two possible prediction options. Users can choose only one option to predict. For example:

* *Will Project Alpha conduct a TGE by the end of 2024?* Options: **Yes** / **No**.
* Which coin will have a higher market capitalization by the end of 2024? Options: **Bitcoin (BTC) / Ethereum (ETH).**

### **2) Categorical Prediction Markets**

These **Polls** have multiple prediction options, and users select one or several options as their predictions. For example:

* *Which token from the list below is to be listed on Binance first?* \
 Options: **Token Delta** / **Token Epsilon** / **Token Zeta**.
* *How FED will change the Interest Rate in September 2024?* \
 Options: **50+ bps increase / 25 bps increase / no change / 25 bps decrease / 50+ bps decrease**

By tapping into the community's collective intelligence, the **Polls Prediction Markets** aims to provide valuable insights into upcoming trends and events while rewarding users for their accurate forecasts.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.orioleinsights.io/home/whitepaper/core-mechanics-and-reward-system-of-oriole-insights/polls-binary-and-categorical-prediction-markets.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
